PARHRUMP NUCLEAR WASTE & ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY MINUTES PAGE 1 OF 2 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Nuclear Waste and Environmental Advisory Committee was held November 1, 2019 at 11:30 A.M at Rob Ruud Community Cente,. Room A Board Members in attendance: John Pawlak, Mary Duff; Debra Perna, Bill Stremmel Also present: Deborah Woodland and Richard Cantino 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of the Agenda for Nov.01, 2019. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Nuclear Waste and Environmental Advisory Committee, meeting of Sept. 6th, 2019. 6. Announcements (First) 7. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) 8. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of publishing environmental tips on-line. John indicated that the 12 Item Tip Sheet reviewed previously had been approved and would be submittedfor online publication. 9. For possible Action - Discussion & deliberation — Regarding official name of Advisory Committee This item is tabledfor the next meeting scheduledfor Friday, December 6th• Deborah Woodland indicated that she had several suggestions that she will email to John for discussion. 10. Discussion regarding Committee work plan for 2019/2020. For possible Action - Discussion & deliberation — Earth Day/Arbor Day 2020. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18th• John will submit an application for Ian Deutsch. Deborah Woodland is pursuing the opportunity of using the same location as 2019 at 1500 East Red Butte. 12. For possible Action - Discussion and deliberation - Regarding Environment issues in Southern Nevada and within the Town of Pahrump. Discussion on pursuing involvementfor informational purposes regarding Dust Control issues and Monitoring Stations, communication via existing Town and County websites 13.
