PAHRUMP ARENAADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Veterans Memorial Building 751 East Street, Pahrump NV 89048 Thursday August 22, 2024 7:00 PM / 19:00 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. 2. Roll Call. Robert Darius Michelle Scot Kamal Christina Cothery, Shawna Krebs, Annie LaHaye, Jimmy Martinez, Courtney Kenney. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for August 22, 2024. Scot motions to approve, Kamal seconds, all in favor. 5. Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting on July 25, 2024. Darius motions to approve, Scot seconds, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First). None. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation 2024 Fall Fest Rodeo. Ticket presale will close on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Robert and Jimmy have wrist bands. Shawna has commitments from Home Depot, Pink Box Donuts, Jimmy Johns, Pizza Hut, and Death Valley Junction for hospitality booth. Annie will have flag practice as soon as we get sponsorship commitments finalized. Volunteer list has been shared. Arena will begin prep on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
