PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Veterans Memorial Building 751 East Street, Pahrump NV 89048 Thursday January 25, 2024 7:00 PM 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert calls to order 7:00 pm. 2. Roll Call Robert T, Scot Michelle C, Steve Tawny Debbie Pastorelli. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for January 25, 2024 Michelle motions to accept, Scot seconds, all in favor. 5. Announcements (First). None. 6. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation 2024 Fall Fest Rodeo: Rodeo will be two performances with an average. Rodeo will have the same events as 2023 with a “half time event” and a grand entry. Will possibly add mutton busting as a “pre-show”. Ticket prices will remain the same as 2023. Add back the Fall Fest Playday the week before. Bring back the hospitality tent and nonprofit food vendors such as the high school sports teams. Will need the following information from Jimmy: a. Budget b. Ticket sales program c. Permanent sign sales as seed money d. Sponsor coordination with tourism 7. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas).
