PAHRUMP PUBLIC LANDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE DRAFT MINUTES February 09, 2021 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee was held on February 09, 2021 at 5:00pm at the Bob Rudd Community Center. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:05pm. 2. Roll Call Jimmy Martinez, Debra Strickland, James Grof, Rick Tretter, Jim Hannah, Mike Zaman, Robert Adams 3. Approval of the Agenda for February 09, 2021. No objections. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first). James Grof commented on off-road racing issues. 5. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of minutes of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee meeting of January 12, 2021. Move to approve by Rick Tretter. 2nd by Jim Hannah. Yes, by all. 6. Announcements (first) None. 7. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) None. 8. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation to elect officers for the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee for 2021. Move by Rick Tretter for no changes. 2nd by Jim Hannah. Yes, by all. 9. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision to address graffiti on public land. Robert Adams commented on establishing off-road event areas. 12. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision regarding the Copper Rays Solar Project recommendations. Nick Pay to address next meeting. 13. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision on Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee relationship with NDOW checking Spring Mountain guzzlers. Informal guzzler inspection February 15, 2021. Meet at noon at BLM fire station. 14. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision to set up social media.
