Resolution #2006 - 30 PAHRUMP TOWN BOARD A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPENSATION TO TOWN BOARD MEMBERS WHEREAS the Town Board has historically experienced difficulty in maintaining membership, and WHEREAS the Town Board member position requires a good deal of personal time spent on Town matters, and WHEREAS the Town Board desires to compensate future members for their time (if they elect to accept), making it to serve at least one full term, now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Town of Pahrump approves the proposed voluntary compensation package for Town Board members to commence July 1, 2007: $250 for every Town Board meeting attended- not to exceed 26 meetings, and Healthcare coverage for the Board member only paid at the same rate as full time Town employees, and PERS.
