PAHRUMP TOWN ORDINANCE NO. 40 REPEAL OF PAHRUMP TO\VN ORDINANCE NO. 20 ORDINANCE REPEALING PAHRUMP TOWN ORDINANCE NO. 20; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEAL; EFFECTIVE DATE; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO. WHEREAS, it has come to the attention ofthe Town Board ofthe Town of Pahrump that Pahrump Town Ordinance No. 20, authorizing an official street map of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump, providing for its maintenance, specifying how streets shall be named and the approval and authOiity for such, requiring Town Board approval of subdivision and parcel maps for street names and sign requirements, specifying standards for street name signs and their installation, and providing penalties for violation of the provisions of the ordinance has become obsolete and of no fUI1her use or effect, as a result of the creation of the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission by the Nye County Commissioners, and NOW, THEREFORE: THE TOWN BOARD OF THE UNINCORPORATED TO\VN OF PAHRUMP, NYE COUNTY, NEVADA, DOES ORDAIN FOLLOWS ---PAGE BREAK--- 40.000 40.100 40 200 40.300 PURPOSE OF ORDINANCE. That Pahrump Town Ordinance No. 20, authorizing an official street map of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump, providing for its maintenance, specifying how streets shall be named and the approval and authority for such, requiring Town Board approval of subdivision and parcel maps for street names and sign requirements, specifying standards for street name signs and their installation, and providing penalties for violation of the provisions of the ordinance which has become obsolete and of no further use or effect, as a result of the creation ofthe Pahrump Regional Planning Commission by the Nye County Commissioners, be, and hereby is, repealed in its entirety. SEVERABiLITY. Every Section of this ordinance, and every part of each section hereof is hereby declared to be independent of each other and parts of sections, and the holding of any section or any part thereof to be voided or ineffective for any cause, shall not be deemed to affect, nor shall it affect, any other section or part of section contained in this ordinance. REPEAL All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or chapters, sections, subsections or paragraphs or resolutions previously adopted by the Pahrump Town Board which are in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. EFFECTIVE DATE.
