April 11, 2019 1 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held at 7:00 PM on April 11, 2019 at the Bob Ruud Community Center located at 150 N Hwy 160 Pahrump, NV 89060. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert T called to ordered at 7:00 P.M and pledge of allegiance done 2. Roll Call Scot T, Loyce S, Robert T, Cody C, Darius M, Michelle C, Bailey C, Donna C, Debra S, Steve C, and Steve P excused absent. 3. Approval of the Agenda for April 11, 2019. Scot made a motion to approve with the adjustment of the date changed from 14 to 11, Darius second, all in favor. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) Debra Strickland introduced herself as excepting liaison for PAAC, and would like to let everyone know about Wild West Extravaganza May 3-5 and opening of the south trail head, 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of March 14, 2019. Cody made a motion to approve minutes, Darius second, all in favor 6. Announcements (First) 7. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Arena Reservations. POSS, May 25 Michelle made a motion to approve, Darius second all in favor, Little Britches asked to add 3rd to the 4-5 and also June 1-2, Darius made a motion to approve, Cody second, all in favor. Pahrump Chamber of Commerce asked to verify date for Fall Fest on September 27-29. Darius made a motion to approve, Cody second, all in favor. 8. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding Arena fixes. Need to have pins made for repairing pens, also need cross members welded back on. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) Loyce let everyone know to thank Debra Strickland for accepting liaison for PAAC. 11. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Second) Donna with Chamber of Commerce has asked for our help. And would like to know want of the community for Fall Fest. She has been approached by Jess Jones and Alroni for estimates for a rodeo. She was asked for help to make this happen. 12. ANNOUNCEMENTS (Second) None 13.
