Public Comment during the Committee Meeting on July 25, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. will be for all matters off the agenda and be limited to three minutes per person. The Committee reserves the right to reduce the time or limit the total time allowed for public comment. The Committee may prohibit comment if the content of the comments is a topic that is not relevant to, or within the authority of, the Committee, or if the content of the comments is willfully disruptive of the meeting by being irrelevant, repetitious, slanderous, offensive, inflammatory, irrational, or amounting to personal attacks or interfering with the rights of other speakers. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for July 25, 2024. Kamal motions to approve, Scot seconds, all in favor. 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting on June 27, 2024. Kamal motions to accept, Scot seconds, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First). Arena will be closed starting September 16, 2024 to prepare for Fall Fest. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation 2024 Fall Fest Rodeo updates. Tina brought buckle choices. Michelle will get with Courtney to order. Shawna says she is going to begin getting sponsorship for the hospitality booth. Annie will start flag practice second week of September. Michelle motions rodeo vendors will pay $175 for 12x12 space, Scot seconds, all in favor. Robert updates that we are at approximately $6500.00 in sponsors. Volunteer list close to finished. Tawny will coordinate vendors. 8. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas). Darius hopes to have the blade before Fall Fest prep. 9.
