DRAFT MINUTES-PPLAC May 12, 2020 Page 1 / 2 Pursuant to NRS, the meeting of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee was held on May 12, 2020 at 5:00 PM via Teleconference; www.freeconferencecalling.com. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Meeting was called to order at 5 PM. The Pledge was recited. 2. Roll Call. PRESENT, Mike Zaman, Robert Adams, Rick Tretter, Jim Hannah, Commissioner Deb Strickland, BLM RecTek James Grof, Nye Co. Natural Resources Director Darrell Lacey. 3. Approval of the Agenda for May 12, 2020. Move to approve by Jim Hannah, 2nd by Rick Tretter, aye by all. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first). None. 5. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of draft minutes of the Pahrump Public Lands Committee meeting of March 10, 2020. Move to approve by Jim Hannah. 2nd by Rick Tretter. Aye by all. 6. Announcements (First) NV OHV Commission Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 9am and 1pm by Robert Adams. Future trail use may require OHV sticker. 7. For Possible Action – Emergency Items. None. 8. Presentation - Pahrump to Tonopah Offroad Trail by Robert Adams. 10. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation to Establish permanent OHV routes between Carpenter Canyon Road and South Wheeler Road in vicinity of SR 160. Background report by Robert Adams. Report by Darrell Lacey. New BLM Realty Spec. Starting over again. The Energy Corridor effects more than just trails around Spring Mountain Motorsport Ranch. Move by Robert Adams asking Darrell Lacey work with BLM to accommodate offroad travel and report to PLAC next meeting. Second by Jim Hannah. Aye by all. 11. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation set date for field survey of Pahrump area game guzzlers in partnership with NDOW (Nevada Department of Wildlife).
