1 TOWN OF PAHRUMP RESOLUTION NO. 2017-02 2 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY REGARDING THE USE OF TOWN 3 PROPERTY 4 WHEREAS, the Town of Pahrump owns various real and personal property; and 5 WHEREAS, pursuant to NRS 269.125, the Nye County Board of Commissioners i 6 authorized to hold, manage, use and dispose of town property; and 7 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Nye County Board of Count’ Commissioners as follows: 8 1. Unless otherwise authorized by the Town Manager, booths, signs, posters, or banners 9 are prohibited in town buildings or on town property except legal notices oi 10 designated bulletin boards and official notices designating meetings, roon assignments, town business and programs and required safety notices. 11 12 2. The Town Manager shall only allow booths, signs, posters, or banners in tow; buildings or on town property which announce, or promote civic, educational, o: 13 cultural events. 14 3. The Town Manager’s determination regarding booths, signs, posters, or banners i; 15 town buildings or on town property shall be viewpoint neutral. 16 4.
