PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE DRAFT MINUTES March 10, 2022 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held on March 10, 2022 at 7:00pm at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order 7:00pm, Robert called meeting to order; Pledge spoken. 2. Roll Call Robert T, Michelle C, Cody C, Darius M, Scot T, Steve C, Jimmy Martinez, Commissioner Strickland, Bryan Wulfenstein, Riley @ Landmine Fitness 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for March 10, 2022. Robert made a motion to approve, Darius second, all in favor. 5. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee meeting of February 10, 2022. Scot made a motion to approve, Cody second, all in favor. 6. Announcements (first) None. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of any new Arena Reservations. Bryan Wulfenstein & Riley from CrossFit Landmine requested arena Sept 30, 2022- Oct 1,2022. P.O.S.S. Oct 1,2022 conflicts. Cody motions to accept reservation with stipulation that P.O.S.S. can reschedule Darius seconds, all in favor. 8. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding the Fairgrounds. Water rights are a go. Commissioner Strickland informed of OHV groundbreaking date. Michelle contacting Preifert representative about pricing options. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding extra lighting for stock pens. Jimmy updated that Public Works is sending updated solar plans. 10. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding the purchase of a de- rocking machine. Michelle to contact Horseman’s Park to see if they would be willing to do a demonstration. 11. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) Robert requested to have an agenda line item “arena fixes” added into all future PAAC agendas. 12.
