3 4 6 7 8 9 l0 ll t2 l3 1.1 l5 l6 t'7 l8 t9 2l 23 20 '11 24 25 cio C e TOWN OF PAHRUMP RESOLUTION NO.2025- 02 A RESOLUTION TO CLOSE TOWN OF PAHRUMP AMBULANCE FUND WHEREAS, the Pahrump Town Board, on March 9,1999, approved the creation of the Pahrump Ambulance Fund (25520), an enterprise fund, to manage, maintain and account for all matters related to ambulance services; and WHEREAS, the balance, reserve and retained eamings of the Ambulance Fund were originally intended to be placed in the General Fund of the Town of Pahrump (25 I 0 I ) at the discretion of the Board; and WHEREAS, ambulance services are carried out by the Town of Pahrump Fire Rescue under the public safety function of the Town's General Fund; and WHEREAS, having a separate enterprise fund hinders deparfinental planning and budgeting; and WHEREAS, the Nye County Board of County Commissioners, sitting as the goveming board fot the Town of Pahrump, has therefore decided to close the Pahrump Ambulance Fund (25520); and WHEREAS, no outstanding obligations remain against the fund pursuant to NRS 354.612; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED, that Nye County, Nevada, shall revert all remaining excess funds available to the Town of Pahmmp General Fund (25101). IT IS FUTHER RESOLVED, that the Nye County Clerk shall forward the necessary documents to the Department ofTaxation, State ofNevada. APPROVED this 20t day of May,2025.
