The short notice on this change is because of a recent court decision interpreting NRS 288. Due to the short notice the increase in dependent rates will not go into effect until August 1. Currently the rate for dependent coverage is: Cost Full Coverage Cost Medical Only Employee & Spouse 249.000 208.28 Employee & Children 179.00 125.26 Family 423.00 325.84 Employees will have the opportunity to make plan changes until July 30th with the change retro’d back to the first of July. Please contact Nye County HR or the Pahrump HR office with any questions.
