PPLAC Minutes June 11, 2019 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Public Land Advisory Committee was held at 6:00 PM on June 11, 2019, at the Bob Ruud Community Center located at 150 N Hwy 160 Pahrump, NV 89060. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. 6 pm. 2. Roll call. Robert Adams, Jim Hannah, Rick Tretter, Mike Zaman, Commissioner Strickland, James Groff (BLM PFO Rec Tek), Shevawn Sapp (BLM PFO Realty Spec) 3. Approval of the Agenda for June 11, 2019. Move to approve by Rick Tretter, 2nd by Jim Hannah, yes by all. 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT: (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Draft Minutes of the PAHRUMP PUBLIC LANDS ADVISORY COMMITTEE, meeting of April 9, 2019. Move to approve by Jim Hannah, 2nd by Rick Tretter, yes by all. 6. Announcements (First) Clark County Federal Land Bill in the works. 7. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/projects/agendas). PLAC bylaws change expanding PLAC scope to “surrounding Pahrump” passed by BOCC. Contacts with NVDOW by PLAC Secretary. South Side TH report including contact with Parks & Rec Matt Luis by Commissioner Strickland for shade structure. 8. For Possible Action-Discussion and deliberation to submit Bell Vista Shooting Range plans to Board of County Commissioners. Discussion followed by Chair tabling item to next regular meeting. Deb Strickland stated she hold Certs. necessary to operate a shooting range. 9. For Possible Action-Discussion and deliberation for area cleanup with BLM in September.
