PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES Veterans Memorial Building 751 East Street, Pahrump NV 89048 November 9,2023 7:00 PM 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. 7:00 pm Robert called meeting to order, Pledge spoken. 2. Roll Call Robert Darius M, Scot T. Michelle Jimmy Martinez, Tawny Lyn Shirky. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first) None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for November 9, 2023. Darius made a motion to approve, Scot second, all in favor. 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of October 12, 2023. Scot made a motion to approve, Darius second, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First) No PAAC meeting in December. 7. Liaison/ Nye County Staff/ Town of Pahrump Staff Comments: (This item limited to announcements/ topics/ issues proposed for future workshops or agendas. None. 8. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation on the review of policies, bylaws, and reservation form. Adjustments noted on the documentation and Robert will type a new copy for approval at the next meeting. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of Arena reservations. None. 10. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation 2024 Fall Fest Rodeo - Town comptroller says PAAC taking responsibility has moved forward. 11. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation on updates on the Fairgrounds- None 12. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding arena fixes and/ or repairs. Jimmy requested a fuel card for the tractor. Getting tires for the Widow. 13. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/ issues proposed for future workshops/agendas.
