Minutes of the Pahrump Public Land Advisory Committee October 11, 2022 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee was held on October 11, 2022, at 5:00pm at the Pahrump Nye County Commissioner’s Chambers 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order 5pm. Mike Zaman, Rick Tretter, Jim Hannah, Robert Adams, Frank Slaghuis, and Commissioner Deb Strickland. Jim Hannah excused absence. 2. Approval of the agenda for September 13, 2022. No changes. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). No public. 4. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of minutes of the Pahrump Public Lands Advisory Committee meeting of August 9, 2022 Mike Zaman reported attendance record errors. Rick Tretter moved we accept with changes. 2nd by Frank Slaghuis. Yes by all. 5. Announcements (First). 6. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas). Deb Strickland reported a shooting range will be part of a new landfill and new owners of Front Sight will offer a public range. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision to participate in Pahrump’s Fall Festival Sept. 22 – 24. Good, but will be better organized next year. 8. For Possible Action – Discussion, deliberation, and possible decision to set time, day, and place for next meeting. Next meeting December 13, 2022, moved by Frank Slaghuis. 2nd by Mike Zaman.
