YES or NO For additional information, contact Vern Van Winkle [PHONE REDACTED] PAHRUMP PARADE COMMITTEE, TOWN OF PAHRUMP PARADE ENTRY HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT By signing below: I REPRESENT that I am 18 years old or older; I HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE TOWN, its board members, staff, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all liability, loss, damage, injury, illness, harm, expense, actions and claims, of any kind and nature arising from or related in any way to Pahrump Fall Festival Parade; I CONSENT AND UNDERSTAND that this Agreement contains the complete and integrated understanding and agreement between the parties and supersedes any understanding, agreement or negotiation whether oral or written not set forth herein. No provision of this Agreement will be deemed waived, amended, or modified by either party unless in writing and signed by both parties; I AGREE that if any provision of this Agreement or its application to any person or circumstances is held invalid the remainder of the Agreement, or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected; I AGREE that this Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Nevada. Any action commenced between the parties arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved by means of binding arbitration with a single arbitrator, which shall be determined by the mutual agreement of the parties. This Agreement was entered into in Nye County, Nevada, and any arbitration will take place in this county; and I AGREE that any photograph or video taken during the Pahrump Fall Festival Parade may be used for future promotional purposes. Make checks payable to Town of Pahrump – Fall Festival. Mail or hand-deliver entries to Town of Pahrump, c/o Fall Festival Parade, 2100 E Walt Williams Drive, Ste 100, Pahrump, NV 89048 no later than September 22nd, 2020. NO EXCEPTIONS! Line Up: 7A.M. on September 26, 2020 at Ian Deutch Memorial Park, located on Honeysuckle. WHEN YOU CHECK IN YOU WILL RECEIVE A NUMBER AND A CATEGORY. ALL ENTRIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SIGNS AND DISPLAYS. All Float and Car Entries: All float and car entries must be decorated in accordance with the theme. Any car entries not decorated will not be able to participate with the exception of classic and antique cars. We require that all floats be decorated and have some type of music to play throughout the parade route. Notice to all participants: Please heed this warning: Throwing of candy or water or anything else is prohibited from the entrants. You may hand such items to a person; Participants will be asked to leave the parade line-up if this occurs and will not be allowed to participate in future parades. The line-up will be in accordance to protocol and at the discretion of the parade committee. Any animal entries must be accompanied with a pooper-scooper. Liability: The Town of Pahrump, it's Parade Board, and its staff will not be responsible for losses of any kind, whether by fire, theft, physical violence, elements of nature of any other cause, however originating. Safety: Participants are responsible for their own merchandise and equipment and conduct of their entry and liable for any injury or accident cause by their entry and its protection and insurance. Judging and Awards: Judging of the floats and equestrian entries will commence from 7:00- 7:45 a.m. Entries MUST be in the judging area and ready for judging by 6:30 a.m. Winners will be announced, and awards handed out in the judging area. Winning banners and trophies will be handed out for display.
