PAHRUMP ARENAADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES Veterans Memorial Building 751 East Street, Pahrump NV 89048 September 14, 2023 7:00 PM 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. 7:00 pm Robert called meeting to order, Pledge spoken. 2. Roll Call Robert Darius M, Scot Jimmy Martinez, Debbie Tawny Trish Phelps, Shane Chapman, Kai Brant 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first) None 4. Approval of the Agenda for September 14, 2023. Darius made a motion to approve, Scot second, all in favor 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of August 10, 2023 Darius motions to remove line 4 and accept, Scot seconds, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First) Arena closed as of 9-16-23 for Fall Fest preparation 7. Liaison/ Nye County Staff/ Town of Pahrump Staff Comments: (This item limited to announcements/ topics/ issues proposed for future workshops or agendas. None 8. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation on future vision for the arena including upgrades/ and or improvements. Darius motions to accept PVRR dates 10/7/23, 11/4/23, 2/10/24, 3/2/24, 4/6/24, & 5/4/24 , Scot seconds, all in favor. 11. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation on updates on the Fairgrounds None 12. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding arena fixes and/ or repairs.
