Page 1 June 13, 2019 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held at 7:00PM, on June 13, 2019 at the Bob Ruud Community Center, 150 N Hwy 160 Pahrump, NV 89060. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert called to order at 7:05 pm 2. Roll Call Loyce S, Donna( Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator), Commissioner Debra Strickland, Michelle C, Debbie P, Steve P, Steve C, Cody C, Robert T, Scot T, Darius M. 3. Approval of the Agenda for June 13, 2019. Scot made a motion to approve Agenda, Cody Second, All in favor 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) None 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of May 09, 2019. Cody made a motion to approve, Scot second, all in favor 6. Announcements (First) Michelle let everyone know Little Britches went well and all contestants were happy with the arena after Rid O Rock came and removed rocks from the arena. 7. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Arena Reservations. None 8. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding Arena fixes. Robert put in for a new sequencer, the old one uses 18 amp and the circuit breaker is 15amp.and has been tripping when used. New one will be installed before July 4th celebration. 9. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding PAAC arena repair workshop date. PAAC workshop at 6:00 am on Saturday Scot first Steve P second all in favor. 10. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation to discussing covering main arena. Steve said we are waiting on the cover assessments from Matt. PAAC would like to ask for Jimmy to start coming to the PAAC meeting to continue plans. Michelle C will be looking into several options for installing covering and will talk to people from Hurricane and Winnemucca. ---PAGE BREAK--- PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES ITEM # SUBJECT June 13 , 2019 2 Scot asked if Debra Stickland can look into where the funds came from for ball fields. Robert asked if we could put on the agenda for the next meeting. 11. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation to create a sub-committee to get together plans for help on the county Fair Grounds. Robert asked if we had plans for the previous fair grounds. Steve will try and get a hold of Judy for plans. Steve let it be known that Judy said she has some plans and will give them to Steve. Scot will look to see if he has something and also will ask Chief if he has some previous plans. Robert also recommended to table for next meeting. 12. For Possible Action – Discussion of Pahrump Fall Festival 2019. Donna asked if PAAC could assist on help, Pahrump Chamber of Commerce would like help with viewing business with “Outlaw Bronq Jess Jones.” Steve asked if Chamber is going to do Coke and Budweiser to see if they would donate. 13. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) Michelle C said thank you to the Pahrump Chamber of Commerce for doing a rodeo for fall fest this year. 14.
