PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE DRAFT MINUTES November 11, 2021 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held on November 11, 2021 at 7:00pm at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order 7:03pm, Robert called to order; Pledge spoken. 2. Roll Call Michelle C, Cody C, Shawna Krebs, Buddy Krebs, Steve P, Robert T, Commissioner Debra Strickland 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (first). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for November 11, 2021. Cody made a motion to approve, Robert second, all in favor 5. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee meeting of June 10, 2021 & October 14, 2021. Cody motioned to accept the minutes, Steve P. second, all in favor 6. Announcements (first) Commissioner Strickland gave a heads up that the subject of solar farms is possibly something that could affect PAAC 7. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation of any new Arena Reservations. WWLB & NWHF canceled Dec dates Rodeo club requests February 18-20, 2022 Steve P motioned to accept requested date, Cody second, all in favor. Request for Monster truck event June 10-11, 2022 Cody motions to accept request w/ following conditions: -no demolition derby -dirt to be returned as it was prior to use -event permit is granted Steve P second, all in favor ---PAGE BREAK--- PAHRUMP ARENA ADVISORY COMMITTEE DRAFT MINUTES November 11, 2021 8. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding the Fairgrounds Layout. Commissioner Strickland updated PAAC. Environmental Assessment is required and water rights under discussion. 9. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding extra lighting for stock pens. Tabled. 10. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding the status on the creation of a central email account with access to all Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee members. Tabled. 11. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation regarding the addition of Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee alternate members. Courtney has no applications. 12. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas) Robert will see if Scot has looked at the policies &, bylaws Michelle will let Jimmy know about next meeting agenda. 13.
