TOP 2022-02 Completion of the Veterans Memorial Building July 6, 2022 Questions and Answers 1. Where is the funding for this project coming from? The Town of Pahrump 2. Is prevailing wages required? Anything over 100k will require prevailing wages. 3. What is the Flatwork? The soils report was included in the documents posted on the website. The soils report contains the information regarding the flatwork. 4. CMU walls everywhere? We want to match with what is existing. 5. What type of partitions do you want? Regular Public 6. Do we have to pull the trees and roots? No, we will take care of this prior to start. 7. Do we need to relocate AC Unit? We can push it out and add it back. 8. Do we need to remove the planter? No 9. Is the Adobe Style Block necessary? Our preference is to match it, but not a requirement. 10. Does a door need to be added? Yes 11. When is the bid opening? July 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm 12. When are questions due? July 1, 2022 13. Bid Opening is located at the 2101 E. Calvada Blvd Ste 200, Pahrump, NV 89049 14. Please see additional questions attached. ---PAGE BREAK--- Interior Build Out • Where are metal walls, ceiling, and soffits at if any? Are we furring Walls? 1) The additional restrooms can be framed using metal studs, all of it. 2) Restrooms should be a hard lid, drywall all the rest can be a suspended grid ceiling 3) Soffits can be a standard, not enclosed soffit 4) Walls should be furred out to accommodate electrical and future IT. But we can entertain using conduit on the wall surface if we can figure out a way to make it look clean. Electrical/ HVAC/ Plumbing • Lighting panel location needed o Is a lighting panel needed? 1) If we install a lighting panel then we could place it inside the storage closet 2) We probably do not need a panel, everything we are doing can be done using the exterior panel near the NW rear door. • IT cabinet location needed 1) There is no IT service at this location yet. There is no electrical or IT room for this project. • How many flat screen locations needed? Locations needed 1) We planned to put flat screen locations for memorial pictures on the existing east and west walls • Where is breakroom? Locations of appliance circuits needed 1) No breakroom at this location. No appliances General Questions/ Needs • Structural plans show a closet of some sort in front room but not on floor plan? 1) The closet is needed for storage of chairs and tables • Structural plans and floor plans show two pillars out front holding up patio, but rendering does not show it. Are those being built, and what would the material be on those if so? 1) Yes the columns should be built as per structural plans 2) Something very durable, 6x6 square tubing possibly? • Restroom wall material needed. FRP? Tile? 1) Subway tile on the bottom, drywall remainder 2) Tile flooring, FRP or equivalent.
