Pahrump Town Ordinance No. 51 AN ORDINANCE TO PROIDBIT PERSONS CONVICTED OF CERTAIN SEXUALLY RELATED OFFENSES FROM RESIDING NEAR LOCATIONS FREQUENTED BY CIDLDREN WHEREAS, the Pahrump Town Board is charged with protecting the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump, and WHEREAS, the Pahrump Town Board takes note ofthe frequent occasions of sexually related offenses wherein children are the victims, and WHEREAS, the Pahrump Town Board recognizes that children are in need of protection in excess of the protections available to adults, now THEREFORE, the Town Board of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump, Nye County, Nevada, does ordain as follows: Section 1. No person who is a "Sex Offender" as defined in Nevada Revised Statute l79D.400, or has been convicted of a "Sexual Offense" as defined in Nevada Revised Statute 179D.41 0, 179D.420, or 179D.430, and is assigned (or qualifies for) a tier two or tier three level of notification status as specified in NRS 179D.730, and as subsequently amended, shall reside within 2,000 feet of the real property comprising a public or nonpublic elementary or secondary schc
