1 TOWN OF PAHRUMP RESOLUTION NO. 2020-05 2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF PAHRUMP TO ESTABLISH A FALL FESTIVAL CHECKING ACCOUNT THROUGH NEVADA STATE BANK 4 WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding with the Pabrump Valley Chamber of 5 Commerce to run the Fall Festival has expired; and 6 WHEREAS, the Town of Pahrump has determined to resume running of the annual 7 festival; and 8 WHEREAS, on June 16, 2020, the Nye County Comptroller/Town of Pahrump Finance 9 Director requested that the Nye County Board of County Commissioners (Board) authorize the 10 establishment of a checking account for the Fall Festival; and 11 WHEREAS, the Board finds that sufficient cause exists to justify the opening of said 12 checking account 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Nyc County Board of County 14 Commissioners as follows: 15 1. The Nye County Comptroller/Town of Pahrump is hereby authorized to establish a 16 checking account with Nevada State Bank, for the purpose of depositing such fees, 17 remittances and other funds which the Town of Pahrump Fall Festival is authorized and 18 required to collect. 19 2. The Board authorizes and approves the following signatories on this account be one of 20 two required signatories on all disbursement transactions: 21 Tim Sutton, Town Manager 22 Savannah Rucker, Finance Director 23 Scott Lewis, Fire Chief 24 Jimmy Martinez, B&G Manager 25 This resolution shall become effective immediately.
