REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS BID 2020-02 Station 2 ADDENDUM NO. 2 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT Receipt of Addendum No. 2 to Bid 2020-02 to incorporate the following: • Updated Schedule of Items • Question and Answers • Asbestos Test Results • Engineering Plans / Drawings • Updated Geotechnical Report Receipt of addendum MUST be acknowledged and returned with bid package. Will you be providing an updated Floor Plan that shows the Bathroom and 1,000 sf office/cleaning area See attach item floor plan 3. Will you be providing an updated Bid Form with the new line items Yes. 4. The Building Permit will be paid for by the Owner so the General Contractor will only be responsible for the MP&E Permits correct? County will pay for building permits. MP&E Permits are contractor responsibility. 5. Can you please provide the Soils Report See attach item updated GEORPT 6. Can you please provide the Asbestos Report. It was mentioned that this was done a long time ago so an update will need to be done. Updated report shows all samples as non-detect (Attached). 7. Can you please provide information on the swamp coolers that need to be installed. It was stated yesterday that the intent was to match another Pahrump Fire Station Master cool 7,000 CF 8. Will Propane piping need to be installed? No propane 9. Will the Space Heaters be Electric? Yes 10. Is the Concrete Paving around the Modular Building part of this scope of work? Add as an option 11. Due to us waiting on an updated Floor Plan can you extend the bid date so we have time to get it to the Subcontractors? Deadline changed to October 29th. 12. Will a Vehicle Exhaust System be required in the Bays? No 13. Sheet D1, note 5 states to "remove existing Metal Building, Concrete Slab & Foundation". There is also an Optional Item on the bid form to remove the existing Building. My understanding is that this scope of work will be covered under a separate Nye County Bid. Please clarify if this is actually part of the scope of work (as an optional price) for this project or if this will be done prior to this project construction start date This is just an option at this time. 14. Exhibit A: Scope of Work, under grading it states that the Grading Work will be completed prior to award. Please confirm that this will be done prior to the project construction start date. Also, will the pad be over- ex'd or does that need to be included in our scope of work for this specific project? If the Building is not being removed under a different contract prior to this projects start date, will the Grading still be done under another contract and not be part of this projects scope of work? Grading will be completed before the construction start date. 15. There is no mention of Building or Site Electrical. Please confirm that no Electrical work is required under the scope of work for this specific project. See attach item Electrical and Lighting add as an option with 400 amp service 16. Measurement uncertainty data for sample results with asbestos concentration can be provided when requested.
