PAHRUMP TOWN RESOLUTION NO. 2015-01 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR THE BOB RUUD COMMUNITY CENTER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners ("Board"), the governing body of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump, is responsible for protecting the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of the Town of Pahrump; and WHEREAS, Pahrump Town Resolution No. 2012-04 promulgated a schedule of fees necessary for the adequate maintenance, upkeep, and upgrades of the Bob Ruud Community Center. WHEREAS, the Board hereby finds that it is in the best interest of the unincorporated Town of Pahrump to amend the fee schedule for the purpose of exempting Nevada corporations organized and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service of exempt status of the IRS Code, from paying a rental fee only. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby exempts a Nevada corporation organized and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service of exempt status of the IRS Code, from paying a rental fee only. Type "A Event": An event conducted during normal business hours (8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.) Monday-Friday excluding holidays. The building is not cleaned 2. The building and/or contents are damaged Alcohol: Events involving the use of Alcohol will be charge an additional $10.00 an hour over and above the aforementioned fees regardless of space usage and time. Resolution 20 I S-0 I Amending Fee Structure for the Bob Ruud Community Center - Non Profit Exemption ---PAGE BREAK--- Reoccurring Events: Type "A Events" which occur an average of more than 4-times a month will be charged $1 0.00 per session. Booking of multiple events must have prior approval of the Town Manager or his/her designee. Cancellations: Any cancellation is charged a $15.00 administration fee Cancellation 2-business days or less prior to the event, all user fees will be forfeited. Exception: Any organization utilizing the Bob Ruud Community Center on a recognized National holiday for the purpose of serving the citizens of Pahrump will get that day's use for free. Exemptions: Nevada corporations organized and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service of exempt status of the IRS Code from paying a rental fee orily. APPROVED this 7th day of April, 2015.
