PAHRUMP ARENAADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Veterans Memorial Building 751 East Street, Pahrump NV 89048 Thursday February 22, 2024 7:00 PM / 19:00 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert calls to order 7:06 p.m. 2. Roll Call. Robert Scot Darius Michelle Jimmy Martinez. 3. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First). None. 4. Approval of the Agenda for February 22, 2024. Darius motions to accept, Michelle seconds, all in favor. 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting on January 25, 2024. Darius motions to accept, Michelle seconds, all in favor. 6. Announcements (First). None. 7. For Possible Action – Discussion and deliberation 2024 Fall Fest Rodeo. Rodeo contracts will be chosen on February 29, 2024, as bidding is open until midnight February 22, 2024. Jimmy to find out how PAAC fundraising, and sponsorship money is applied to Fall Fest Rodeo. Food vendors will be nonprofits and are referred to Jimmy. 8. Committee Comments (This item limited to announcements or topics/issues proposed for future workshops/agendas). Members say that the 4th Thursday of the month for Fall Fest meetings are good. 9. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Second). None. 10. ANNOUNCEMENTS (Second).
