State of Nevada, held on February 11, 1992, the following Resolution was adopted: Whereas ~ the Board has determined that funds should be transferreej from tt18 'a~lrump TO Wll General Fund to the Pahrump Town Capital Project~ Fund in the amount of $10j,(IOO.OO u Now. therefore~ be it resolved that the Town Board re s that the Nye County Auditor! Recorder and the Nye County TreasLlrer transfer $105,000.00 from the Pahrumo -fawn General Fund to the Pahrump Town ital Projects Datecj this 11th day of February~ 1992. Publish February 14 & 21, 1992. ---PAGE BREAK--- Resolution No. R92-2 RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING PAHRUMP HARVEST FESTIVAL WEEK WHEREAS, The Town of Pahrump was the home of the Paiutes; the burial place of the famous Chief Tecopa; a welcome stop for the dusty stagecoach with its weary travelers; and WHEREAS, Pahrump has been historically known for its agriculturerr alfalfa, cotton, Nevada's first cotton gin, and productive livestock indu~5-tf~Y; and WHEREAS, Pahrump is fast becoming the population center of the County of Nye, the third largest, geographically, in the Continental United States; and The Pahrump Town Board and the residents of the Unincorporated Town of Pahrump are justifiably proud of the history and the modern planned development of the Town of Pahrump.
