Pahrump Valley Fire Rescue Residential Burn Permit Application Date: Name: Property Address: Phone Number: Burn permit terms and conditions: • Owner of the property must obtain permit, please attach proof of valid Liability Property Insurance and copy of Driver’s License. Email to: [EMAIL REDACTED] or drop off at PVFR Station 1 Administration Office. Once permit has been issued, you can pick it up or have it mailed. • An adult must be in attendance at all times while a burn is being conducted. • Before you burn, you must call in the burn ([PHONE REDACTED], option 2, leave a message with permit # and property address) • No fires will be conducted on any public or private street, or within the right-of-way of a public or private street. • A water supply must be close by at all times while burning is conducted. • Burn hours are 8am-4pm Weekdays and 8am-12pm Weekends. No burning is allowed on Holidays. Burning is not permitted if the winds exceed 5 mph. • Maximum burn pile size is 3’x6’. You are allowed to burn one pile at a time. • You must remain 25’ from any structures on your property. • The only acceptable items to burn are natural waste vegetation; leaves, grass clippings, garden residue, tree trimmings, chipped shrubbery, and other vegetative material.
