I was introduced to Pahrump, NV in March 2002, when my husband brought me and our two young boys to look at several properties he had identified for possible purchase. I fell in love with Pahrump the night we drove into town. We were excited to call Pahrump home when we purchased the family property that is currently our home in May 2002. We have raised our children here and now have extended family and grandchildren that reside in Pahrump. I have held positions of leadership in local non-profit organizations, including Nevada Outreach Training Organization, and the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce. Currently, I serve on the boards of SWCREDA, Living Free Health and Fitness, Soroptimist and the newly forming Youth Arts Programs, and am the current chairperson of the Nevada Children's Justice Act taskforce. I have a history of building partnerships within our community and working in collaboration to produce results for the benefit of the community. ln 2021, I planted a vineyard with the intention of becoming a family farm winery as recently codified within zoning ordinances. I bring the experience of opening and managing a small business that will depend on tourism and community support for its success. I have had the opportunity to work with partners in the industry and build relationships with other winery, vineyard and industry owners and partners and am interested in contributing to the .ontinued growth and vibrancy of our community in Pahrump.
