PAAC – Minutes March 14, 2019 Pursuant to NRS, a meeting of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee was held at 7:00PM on March 14, 2019 at the Bob Ruud Community Center, Room A, located at 150 N Hwy 160 Pahrump, NV 89060. 1. Pledge of Allegiance and Call to Order. Robert Called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M. with pledge. 2. Roll Call Steve P, Debbie P, Steve C, Michelle C, Loyce S, Robert T, Cody C, Scot T, Darius M 3. Approval of the Agenda for March 14, 2019. Scot made a motion to approve the agenda, Cody second, all in favor 4. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT (Three-minute time limit per person.) Action will not be taken on the matters considered during this period until specifically included on an agenda as an action item (First) None 5. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Minutes of the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, meeting of February 14, 2019. Scot made a motion to except the minutes, Steve P second all in favor. 6. Announcements (First) PVRR this weekend. 7. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of an applicant for the Pahrump Arena Advisory Committee, due to an expired term, Apllicant Steve Pastorelli. Loyce made a motion to except, Michelle second, all in favor. 8. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of Arena Reservations. Michelle made a motion to except NWHF Senior Pro Bull reservation, Steve C second, all in favor 9. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation regarding Arena fixes. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of information of covering the main portion of the arena. Company came by and will give an estimate on build and install of cover for the main arena. It was asked by them if the small stands can be moved to provide enough room to make covering rectangle and not have to curve the edge. PAAC will need to get with Matt to discuss this. 11. For Possible Action - Discussion and deliberation of work day for repair of Arena by the PAAC. It was asked my Scot if Matt can make 50- ½” round stock 10” to repair pins that are missing in and around the arena. 12.
