A “formal bid award” consists of a phone call, US Mail and email to the awarded party and will represent confirmed and completed contact with the awarded party and be deemed the start of the required 60 day delivery period. Bids are due by Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:30a.m. local time. Bids must be sealed and have “Attention County Administrator: Bid 2022-01 Dump Trailer” marked on the exterior. Bids must be mailed/dropped off at 225 W. Main Street, Room 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. There will be a public bid opening on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:35a.m. at 225 W. Main Street, in Room 100. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price. Vendors located in Otsego County receive a 5% cost variance for low bid determination. Bidder’s name, address, phone number and email address is required on all bids.
