Bids are due by Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 1:30 pm. There will be a public bid opening on Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 1:35 pm at 225 W. Main Street in Room 100. All bids must be sealed and have bid number “2024-04” marked on the exterior and to the attention of Jacob Brown, Director of the Otsego County Parks and Recreation Department, 225 W. Main Street, Ste. 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. Bids must be submitted in writing, either by mail or dropped off in person at 225 W. Main Street Gaylord, MI 49735 in the Administrative Office. Bids are to be based on the following minimum equipment standards and specs: • Diesel • A minimum of 55 horsepower. • Hydrostatic transmission • Four wheel drive • Head lights • Tail lights • Blinkers • Front quick attachments o A bucket with a minimum width of 72 inches and a replaceable cutting edge. o A set of forks with a minimum length of 48 inches. o A brush grapple with a minimum width of 60 inches. o A third hydraulic valve. o A skid steer carrier. • Back quick attachments o A box blade with a minimum width of 72 inches. o Three accessory hydraulics. o A rear PTO. o A three point hitch. o A draw bar. • The tractor must have the option to have a mid PTO added in the future. • A minimum lift capacity of 1,500 pounds. • Semi-turf/semi-ag tires. o Weighted tires with non-corrosive ballast weight. • A minimum 1 year/1,000 hour warranty. • The tractor must be ready for delivery to the county within 120 days of the time of the awarded bid. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids, to waive or not waive informalities or ir- regularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price. Vendors located in Otsego County receive a 5% cost variance for low bid determination.
