INTRODUCTION The Otsego County Sheriff's Office is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide body-worn camera (BWC) systems for law enforcement personnel. The department intends to enhance accountability, transparency, and officer safety through the implementation of a reliable and secure BWC solution. This Request for Pricing (RFP) outlines the requirements and expectations for the procurement of BWCs, associated software, data storage, and support services. 2. SCOPE OF WORK Vendors shall provide the following: • Body-worn cameras (minimum 16 units) • Secure cloud-based or on-premises video storage • Camera management and video evidence software • Maintenance, training, and technical support • In-car camera integration • Redaction software for public records compliance ---PAGE BREAK--- 3. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS 3.1 CAMERA HARDWARE Each body-worn camera must meet or exceed the following specifications: • Minimum resolution: 1080p HD • Field of view: Minimum 120° • Low-light/night vision capabilities • Pre-event recording buffer (at least 30 seconds) • Battery life: Minimum 12 hours continuous use • Water and impact resistance (IP67 or better) • One-touch recording activation • LED recording indicator (optional privacy mode) • Mounting options: uniform and outer vest 3.2 STORAGE & EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT • Cloud or on-premises CJIS-compliant storage • Unlimited or tiered storage options • Retention scheduling per agency policy • Audit trail capabilities • Role-based access controls • Chain of custody logging 3.3 SOFTWARE & INTEGRATION • Video tagging and categorization • Keyword search and video playback tools • Integration with CAD/RMS systems (if applicable) • Ability to share videos securely with prosecutors • Optional AI-based redaction and transcription tools 3.4 TRAINING & SUPPORT • Initial and ongoing user/admin training • 24/7 technical support availability • Firmware and software updates • Replacement/warranty policy details (must be supplied with bid) ---PAGE BREAK--- 4.
