Road Commission, Judith Jarecki-Otsego County Planning Commission, Abel Cruz, Bonny Miller, Justin Wing, Tom Pratt-Director, -Coordinator, Keri Swantek-Recording Secretary February 5, 2021 As we have previously communicated to the community, the Otsego County Parks and Recreation Commission remains committed to safely opening up our activities and programs as soon as we can. The Otsego County Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the expansion of the partial re-opening of our Community Center on Monday February 8, 2021. In compliance with the most recent orders, we are now able to open for Volleyball and Basketball Leagues along with continuing to have our Children’s Playgroup and Pickle-Ball. The current order from allows the Community Center to open for certain activities, and sport leagues. Unfortunately, our after school activities are not yet allowed. However, we will be prepared to safely re-open these activities as soon as we are allowed to. Our staff has heightened all sanitization efforts so we can offer a clean, safe environment. Please note that masks are required at all times even during competition. We look forward to seeing you soon! Schedule of Events: Children’s Playgroup Program (ages 5 and under): Tuesday and Friday 9:30am-11:30am Pickle-ball*: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday – 9:00am-3:00pm Tuesday and Friday 1:00pm-4:00pm Volleyball League: Monday and Wednesday Nights (Start date and games times TBA) Basketball League: Tuesday and Thursday Nights (Start date and games times TBA) *Please note we have two pickle-ball courts. Reservations are required. To reserve a time slot, please call (989) 732-6521. Each slot will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Sanitized pickle-balls will be provided and MUST be returned after the completion of your competition.
