Attached is the Bid Tabulation/Verification including Engineers Estimate for comparison. The two bids received were in fair range of the Engineers Estimate. One above and one below. The two bids were within 6.5% of each other indicating uniformity in their interpretation of the Contract Documents. We have found no discrepancies with the submitted unit prices from either bidder. We verified that the local Contractor eligible for the County preference does not fall within the allowance. Both Contractors are reputable and are well known. Either Contractor would be an excellent choice.
