RFP 2025-01: Request for Proposal for Design and Installation of Generator Service to the Otsego Lake County Park Questions 1‐4 Submitted to Jacob Brown, Otsego County Parks and Recreation Director Submitted by Adam Uhlianuk, MiEngineering Group on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 8:17 a.m. Question 1: Has the county already purchased the new generator and automatic transfer switch for this project? Or is this something they are looking for the bidder to provide pricing on? Otsego County’s Response to Question 1: The county has not bought the generator yet and is looking for the bidder to provide pricing within their bid for the generator material(s). Question 2: How was a 48kW generator determined? Otsego County's Response to Question 2: We worked with a local electrician that recommended the 48kW generator size for the buildings that we needed it to power at the Otsego Lake County Park. QUESTION 3: Is there an existing generator in place that is being removed and this shall take its place? Otsego County's Response to Question We do not currently have a generator of any kind, so this will be a new unit for this location. Question 4: Do you know the existing service size? (i.e. amperage, voltage, single or three phase)? Otsego County's Response to Question There is no existing service. A local electrician suggested a single phase, 120/240 volt and 200 amp service.
