All bids are to be based on the following minimum equipment standards: Delivery Requirement: Otsego County will take possession as soon as possible after notification of bid award. Vehicle Requirements: Two 2023 or 2024 or 2025 Trucks with plows Features: • 4-Wheel Drive, 1-Ton Pickup truck with Regular Cab 2- Door (you may include year’s 2023-2024- 2025) The County will choose the model that best suits its needs and budget accordingly. • Snow Plow Package and Snow plow-Stainless steel 9.6 ft XV2 plow with LED headlamps, dual plug connectors, and Rubber deflectors • Amber flashing plow light hard wired to truck with built in switch • 8ft long box • Trailer Tow package with electronic brake controller • Dual batteries • Heavy duty Alternator • Cloth or Canvas like interior • Power Steering • Tilt steering wheel • Power Anti-Lock Brakes • Power Windows & Door Locks • Air Conditioning • Standard Engine • Automatic Transmission • Traction Control • Radio • Cruise Control • Intermittent Windshield wipers • Standard All-Weather rubber / plastic mats • Rear Locking Differential • Spray in Bed Liner These are all the factory direct requirements including additional features. Bids must be sealed and have “Attention County Administrator: Bid 2023-07 Building & Grounds vehicles” marked on the exterior. Bids must be mailed/dropped off at 225 W. Main Street, Room 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. There will be a public bid opening on Friday September 15th 2023 at 12:15 pm at 225 W. Main Street, in Room 212.
