All of these items shall be considered a part of the Contract Documents. Plumbing P1 Clarification – Reference Plumbing Bid Documents (not attached): 1. Regarding 4” CW service: The Plumbing Contractor shall begin their work as shown on the Plumbing Enlarged Floor Plan on Sheet P2 from the Bid Documents. Civil will furnish and install 6” lead to the site and tee 4” CW lead along with a curb-stop. The P.C. is to begin their work after the 4” CW curb-stop. 2. Regarding Storm Lines: The underground storm lines exiting the North side of the building shall be coordinated with the foundation install. The storm leads will need to penetrate the foundation so as to exit at high enough invert to tie into the Civil storm manhole inlets. Coordinate with civil and structural drawings. 3. Sanitary: The exiting 4” sanitary line invert elevation shall be coordinating with the Civil invert tie in. See Civil drawings for more information. Mechanical M1 Clarification – Reference Mechanical Bid Documents (not attached): 1. Rectangular duct was used for runouts due to 10” limited ceiling grid space and supply air insulation thickness (R1.9). Round duct can be used for ductwork runouts from main trunklines to grilles, registers, and diffusers, as long as it’s coordinated with the available ceiling space, light fixtures, required supply air duct insulation (R1.9) and other clearance issues. 2. Return air ducts do not require insulation in indirectly conditioned spaces; such as between ceiling grid and building envelope insulation. 3. Sheets M1.1, M1.2, and M1.3 are incorrectly labeled as 1/8” scale.
