PURPOSE For the stipend payment of on-call Animal Control Officers and on-call Airport Employees. POLICY 1. Animal Control Officers and Airport Employees are eligible for a $2.00/hour stipend while on-call. 2. The $2.00/hour stipend will cease when called to duty and the overtime or straight time rate (whichever is applicable based on hours) begins. 3. All on-call hours are NOT considered MERS eligible and will not accrue Comp or Vacation time. 4. This is a taxable payment. Adopted: January 14, 2025 On-Call Policy Stipend
