To: All Potential Vehicle Bidders From: Rachel Frisch, Otsego County Administrator Date: January 10, 2020 Subject: BID 2020-01 New Pickup Truck Vehicle Purchase Otsego County is seeking bids for one new Regular Cab, 1-Ton Pickup Truck for its Building and Grounds Department. All bids are to be based on the following minimum equipment standards: One new 2019 or 2020 4-Wheel Drive, 1-Ton Pickup Truck with a Regular Cab 2-Door (you may include a bid for both a new 2019 model and a new 2020 model; the county will choose the model that best suits the needs and budget parameters of the department) Snow plow/snow plow package – Fisher Stainless steel 9.6 foot XV2 V-plow with Intensifire LED headlamps, dual plug connectors, and Rubber Deflectors Amber flashing plow light hard wired to truck with built in switch 8ft Long Box Trailer Tow Package with electric brake controller Dual batteries and heavy duty Alternator Cloth interior Power Steering Tilt Steering Wheel Power Anti-Lock Brakes Power Windows & Door Locks Air Conditioning Standard Engine Automatic Transmission Color, preferred gray or silver, will consider other colors; no red Traction Control Intermittent windshield wipers Standard and all-weather rubber/plastic mats Radio Cruise Control Vehicles must be ready for delivery to County within 60 days of bid award. Bids are due by Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. local time. Bids must be sealed and have Bid 2020-01 marked on the exterior. Bids can be mailed/dropped off at 225 W. Main Street, Room 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. There will be a public bid opening on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:35 a.m. at 225 W. Main Street in Room 212. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price.
