OTSEGO COUNTY SEEKING VOLUNTEER Otsego County is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Veterans’ Affairs board. All interested individuals must be a resident of Otsego County and who have served honorably on active duty in the United States armed forces or who served actively in the United States armed forces in a war or received an armed forces campaign or service medal, to be appointed upon a written recommendation of a post-chartered veterans’ organization within the county and shall have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in public service, business, or finance. Committee members are appointed by the Otsego County Board of Commissioners for a term of 4 years. This is an excellent opportunity for new ideas to be brought forward by veterans who want to make a difference.
