All bids are to be based on the following minimum equipment standards, bids must include all of the following specs: • There will be a total of thirty (30) picnic tables. • The picnic table seats and table will be made from a plastic composite material. • The picnic table support frames will be metal. • The length of the table will be six feet long. • The plastic composite material be a cedar (or closely similar) color. The thirty (30) picnic tables must be ready for delivery to County within 60 days of the time of the awarded bid. Bids are due by Friday December 8th, 2023 at 12:00 pm local time. Bids must be sealed and have bid number 2023-21 marked on the exterior. Bids must be submitted in writing, either by mail or dropped off in person, to the attention of Jacob Brown, Director of the Otsego County Parks and Recreation Department, 225 W. Main Street, Ste. 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. There will be a public bid opening on Friday December 8th, 2023 at 12:05 pm local time at 225 W. Main Street in Room 100. Attendance for the public bid opening is not required. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids, to waive or not waive informalities or ir- regularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price. Vendors located in Otsego County receive a 5% cost variance for low bid determination.
