NOTICE TO BIDDERS Project #2025-08: OTSEGO COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT INTERIOR UPGRADES Project Summary: This project consists of the installation of a security window at the front counter in the lobby of the Sheriff Department, and the addition of a single, half light door in the administrative area. Plans and Specifications may be obtained by email request from the Architect, Sidock Group, Inc. at [EMAIL REDACTED] (Brad Butcher). The project will also be posted with the following plan rooms: 1. Construction Association of Michigan, CAM 2. Builders Exchange of Michigan All bids shall be clearly marked "REPUBLISHED BID FOR PROJECT #2025-08 OTSEGO COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT INTERIOR UPGRADES". Bids shall be firm, lump sum bids. Prior to submitting the bids, alternates are to be submitted for approval and issuance of an Addendum indicating acceptance of any alternates. All questions (RFIs) must be submitted in writing by 2:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025. They are to be sent to [EMAIL REDACTED] (Brad Butcher). All questions and answers will be recorded in an RFI Log, available to all interested parties and posted on various plan room websites. There will be no pre-bid meeting, however site visits may be arranged through Scott Musall ([PHONE REDACTED]) at the project site located at 124 Court Avenue Gaylord, Michigan. The bids shall be due by 2:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025. Bids are to be submitted electronically to Thomas Marquard, Director of Plans and Programs at [EMAIL REDACTED] or hand delivered to the office of Thomas Marquard at 225 W. Main Street, Suite#203, Gaylord, MI 49735. Note that mail or parcel post deliveries are not guaranteed delivery by the 2:00 deadline. The bids shall be opened 2:30PM, September 15, 2025, at 225 W. Main Street, Room #100, Gaylord, MI 49735. The County of Otsego reserves the right to postpone the bid due date and accept or reject all or any bids for sound, documentable, business reasons or to waive informalities, and to award in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the organization. Award will only be to a responsive and responsible firm whose bid, conforms to all the material terms and conditions of the bid. All bid prices must remain valid for 30 days past the submission deadline. Protests about specifications or processes must be received by 10 business days before the due date, protests after the due date but before the award must be received before 5 business days after the due date. Post award protests must be received no later than 5 business days after the award decision. Schedule and timeline: 1. Release of Republished Bid: Monday, August 18, 2025 2.
