All bids are to be based on the following minimum equipment standards, bids must include all of the following specs: • Gas • Minimum engine size 21 horse power • Four wheel drive • One row of seating • Seatbelts • Enclosed cab • Heat • Manual dump box • Rear view mirrors • Side mirrors • Brush guard • Head lights • Tail lights • Blinkers • Back up alarm • Tow package • Glass windshield • Windshield wiper • Minimum 1 year/1,000 hour warranty The Utility Vehicle must be ready for delivery to County within 60 days of the time of the awarded bid. Bids are due by Thursday August 3rd, 2023 at 12:00 pm local time. Bids must be sealed and have bid number 2023-09 clearly marked on the exterior of the envelope. Bids can be mailed to 225 W. Main Street, Ste. 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. Bids can also be dropped off to 225 W. Main Street, Ste. 203, Gaylord, MI 49735 in the Administrative Office. There will be a public bid opening on Thursday August 3rd, 2023 at 12:05 pm local time at 225 W. Main Street, Gaylord, MI, 49735 in Room 100. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price. Vendors located in Otsego County receive a 5% cost variance for low bid determination.
