Groen Nature Preserve Date: September 12, 2023 Subject: Louis M. Groen Nature Preserve Truck Purchase The Louis M. Groen Nature Preserve is seeking bids for a new crew cab ¾-ton HD pickup truck. All bids are based on the following equipment standards: • GMC SLT Package • Sprayed in bed liner • Nerf bars • Tonneau cover • Dark gray or black in color • All weather floor mats • Trailer tow package with brake controller • Dual batteries with heavy duty alternator • Extended mirrors • Hands free communication • Allison 10 speed auto transmission • Snow plow equipped • Boss or Western 8’ V snowplow There will be a trade in vehicle for a 2015 Chevy pickup 2500 HD double cab LT with a 6 ½’ box with 100,000 miles. Bids must be sealed and have “Bid 2023-17 Groen Preserve Truck” marked on the exterior of the envelope. Bids can be mailed or dropped off at 225 W. Main Street, Room 203, Gaylord, MI 49735. There will be a public bid opening at 1:45 pm local time on October 13, 2023 at 225 W. Main Street in Room 100. The County of Otsego reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid determined by the County to be in the best interest of the County, regardless of price.
