2549 Washington Blvd. I Suite 320 I Ogden, UT 84401 I (801) 629-8153 I council.ogdencity.com News Advisory For Immediate Release: June 9, 2017 Office of the Ogden City Council Ogden City Council to consider Harrison Student Housing proposal The Ogden City Council will consider a developer’s proposal that would allow for the construction of additional off- campus student housing on Harrison Boulevard during the June 13th City Council meeting. The proposal consists of three developer-sponsored petitions: 1. An amendment to the Southeast Ogden Community Plan to allow consideration of an R-5/CO zoning option on the western half of 3801 Harrison Boulevard and all of 3778 Brinker Avenue, 1176 East 3850 South and 1164 East 3850 South. 2. The rezone of four properties from R-1-6 and PI to R-5/CO. This includes 3801 Harrison Boulevard, 3778 Brinker Avenue, 1176 East 3850 South and 1164 East 3850 South. 3. A zoning ordinance amendment that would define and create standards for Student Housing and allow it as a use in the R-5 and C-2 zones along Harrison Boulevard between 35th Street and 4800 South.
