1/1 Ogden City Council Meeting: March 21, 2017 FY2017 BUDGET AMENDMENT – FY2017 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN AMENDMENT #1 Adopt/not adopt Ordinance 2017-6 This budget amendment is related to the Annual Action Plan mid-year budget amendment for fiscal year 2017. This action amends the City’s budget to reflect the changes proposed in the Annual Action Plan budget submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City budget amendments total $1,289,210 while the Annual Action Plan budget amendments total $1,679,397. The difference in the amounts is the result of a previously approved budget amendment recognizing an RDA loan repayment to the HELP fund of $340,000 and a budget correction related to the Administration line item in the Annual Action Plan budget of $50,187. The amendment to the Annual Action Plan budget is approved through a separate action of the Council. The proposal is to adopt the ordinance amending the City’s fiscal year 2017 budget to reflect the changes proposed in the Annual Action Plan budget to be submitted to HUD. The proposed budget amendments total $1,289,210. The budget changes are further detailed in the attached transmittal documents with further detail on the proposed sources and uses of funds within the Annual Action Plan budget detailed in the report for that action. 1.
