Ogden City City Council Meeting Results July 28, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers Municipal Building – Third Floor 2549 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401 1. Roll Call. Present: Chair Hyer Vice Chair White Council Member Blair Council Member Garner Council Member Stephens 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Moment of Silence. 4. Recognition: a. Washington Heights Church. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-20 recognizing the significant service efforts of Washington Heights Church in the Ron Claire area and the entire City. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 5-0) b. Mike Hardy. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-21 recognizing All-American Mike Hardy for his successful collegiate running career at WSU. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 5-0) 5. Approval of Minutes (Minutes approved, vote: 5-0): a. Joint study session and regular meeting of April 28, 2015 – Council member Stephens b. Work session and closed executive session of April 28, 2015 – Council member Wicks c. Study session and regular meeting of May 5, 2015 – Council member Garner d. Work session of May 21, 2015 – Vice Chair White e. Work session of May 28, 2015, joint study session of June 2, 2015 and special meeting of June 9, 2015 – Council member Blair 6. Common Consent (voice vote): a. Annexation – 2863 South 1250 West. Proposed Ordinance 2015-36 providing for the annexation of 19.17 acres of land generally located at 2863 South 1250 West and classifying said land as Manufacturing and Industrial Zone (Petition accepted for further review and certification, vote: 5-0) b. Annexation – 1438 West 3300 South. Proposed Ordinance 2015-37 providing for the annexation of 1.97 acres of land generally located at 1438 West 3300 South and classifying said land as Manufacturing and Industrial Zone (Petition accepted for further review and certification, vote: 5-0) 7. New Business: a. Transit System Locally Preferred Alternative. Proposed Joint Resolution 2015-24 adopting the locally preferred alternative for the Utah Transit Authority Transit Project in Ogden City. (Joint resolution adopted, vote: 4-1) ---PAGE BREAK--- 8.
