(Only accepting plastics # 1 & 2) Hint: Flatten and rinse containers • Rinsed Soda, Water Bottles; Plastic Milk Cartons • Rinsed Laundry Detergent/Bleach Containers • Rinsed Plastic Cups/Plates (Clean) • Rinsed Cleaning and Laundry Bottles • Rinsed Food and Juice Bottles CARDBOARD/PASTEBOARD/FIBER – Must be cut into 2 feet by 2 feet pieces or smaller. • 12 Pack Drink Boxes • Egg Cartons (Not Styrofoam) • Cereal Boxes, Shoe Boxes etc.(Remove Liner) • Corrugated Cardboard Boxes • Kleenex and Food Boxes (mac & cheese, etc.) • Toilet Paper/Paper Towel Rolls PAPER • ALL PAPER Not Contaminated with Food or Grease Stains. • Junk Mail, Envelopes, office paper • Catalogs, Magazines & telephone book. • Newspapers ALUMINUM & STEEL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS ONLY Pop Cans/ Beverage Cans/ Food/ Soup/ Veggie/ Fruit Cans (Can Labels okay) Scrap Copper, Brass, Aluminum PLASTICS NOT ACCEPTED (If it is not marked with recycling triangle symbol, throw it in your green garbage cart.) • No Plastic bags or Plastic wrap of any kind. • No Chunks of Plastic • No Motor Oil Containers of Any Kind • No Plastic Can Holders (6-Pack Holders) • No Wading Pools or other Bulk Plastics • No Styrofoam pellets, coolers, egg boxes, cups & plates etc. to-go boxes, CONTAMINATED PAPER • No Paper Plates or Cups with Food or Grease Stains • No Wet Or Used Paper Towels/Napkins/Kleenexes • No Pet Food Bags • No Shredded Paper ALUMINUM & STEEL • No Aerosol/Pressurized Cans or Electronics • No Large Items, (Such as Pipe, Chunks of Steel, Car/Engine Parts, Bike Parts, Swing Sets, Metal Bars, etc.) • No Metal Buckets (5-Gallon Cans, Paint Cans or lids, etc.) • No Outdoor Furniture or Kids Toys MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED • No Glass of Any Kind!!! • No Carpet/Carpet Pad • No Demolition Material - Boards, Roofing, Concrete • No Fabric/Material, clothing, shoes, etc. • No Rubber Materials • No Tires/Wheels • No saw dust, sheetrock, paint or paint tarps. • No Yard Debris (branches, bushes, grass, sod, dirt, gravel, etc.) GLASS RECYCLING LOCATIONS • 1845 Monroe Blvd. (Green Waste Site) • 2828 Harrison Blvd. (N/E corner parking lot) • 502 Wall Ave. Ball Park parking lot. Any color of glass accepted. RECYCLABLES OK to put in the BLUE CART NOT RECYCLABLE NOT OK to put in BLUE CART • Do not bag recyclables.
