The Ogden City Council and Mayor proudly recognize for providing invaluable contributions to the Ogden community. The Ogden Christian Church is celebrating a 90-year milestone. Formerly known as Ogden Japanese Christian Church, the institution was founded by Japanese immigrants in the early 1900s. Throughout the years, the church has held on to and celebrated its Japanese roots, while continuing to grow and serve those from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Ogden Christian Church, situated in Downtown Ogden, plays an integral role in the community. The church offers weekly worship, adult Bible study, and Sunday school for children of all ages. Its members have participated in humanitarian projects with other churches in the area and have provided invaluable service that has left a lasting impression on our community. We express our sincere gratitude to Ogden Christian Church for being an important part of the fabric of our community. We wish them our best in all future endeavors.
